The Pharaoh is an enemy found in the Dawn of Souls and succeeding versions of the original Final Fantasy, meant to resemble the fiends from Final Fantasy III. It is usually found by itself guarding several important treasure chests in the deeper levels of the Whisperwind Cove and appears on tiles adjacent to the treasure chest. Like its lesser Mummy brethren, its attacks can cause the Sleep status effect. The Pharaoh is a yellow palette swap of other mummies.
