  • The New England Film industry started shortly after the Final Civil war, when disgrunted German expressionists quit Hollywood, the most famous being Fritz Lang, after being disgrunted from studio demands over their movies they moved to New England to start their own movie company in the newly formed country. While being owned and directed by foreigners (who later became full citzens of the republic), The New Englanders became very proud of their movie industry, but outside their nation their films were seen as Arthouse, incomprensible and overall cheaply made. Many questioned whether the New Englanders themselves understood their movies. While the freedom of speech is allowed in the kingdom, several laws (which are mostly enforced by Kennedy-Rockfeller Family lawyers) make such subjects as separatism extremely touchy and are usually avoided. The filming for a movie version of The Green Knight Returns was forbidden despite its not even having started.
