SSDC, Inc. is a small publisher of role-playing games and poetry collections, based in Rochester, New York. Their two product lines are the Battlelords of the 23rd Century science-fiction role-playing game, and the Blood Dawn post-apocalyptic RPG. SSDC acquired the licenses to these products from Optimus Design Systems in September of 1999. The first project of SSDC was reprinting the Battlelords of the Twenty-Third Century core book. Sims for the Battlelords product line, in addition to which we are also looking to other writers to help expand and improve the Battlelords RPG. Since 1999, the company has focused on the Battlelords universe, bringing several books back into print while producing new supplements. There are currently 7 supplements to the main rulebook available in-print, with others out of print at this time (these are being re-vamped and re-printed). The most recent supplement, Engines of War, was released in August 2007.About Battlelords of the Twenty-Third Century Battlelords of the Twenty-Third Century is a deep space role-playing, pen and paper, game that utilized the d100 system. The d100 system is a skill-based percentile gaming system that provides the utmost in realism. Battlelords of the Twenty-Third Century features some of the best art in the industry.
