He was created by Humfrey. Eventually he is turned into a real man by X(A/N)th but remains his same height. Grundy rescued and then married Rapunzel, and they had Surprise.
- Old Grundy was the foreman of the Bluestone Mines under Sharnek in the western Shamutanti Hills until the mines were abandoned and left to the Undead. As the former foreman of the mines, Old Grundy knows many of the hazards to be found there. Since he is a bad-mannered, grumpy old man, however, he is unlikely to divulge his secrets without a substantial reward in the form of food and ale. Old Grundy smokes a stinking old pipe.
