Synopsis

  • When a family concerned with their social standing within the community discover that their little boy has the ability to shape-change into a demon, they have the child lobotomized so that his behavior does not continue to embarrass them.
  • Cain gets involved personally in this story to show a gangster just what would have happened if his fingerprints had not been found at the crime scene. The man is sitting on death row taking the rap for a murder his boss committed because he believes the man's lies that he will get him sprung. Cain magically alters the world so that the man's fingerprints were not found at the crime scene and he disappears from his cell. When he finds himself back at the gangster hideout and the boss takes him out into the woods to rub out a witness to his murder, the convict realizes he's being made a patsy and finds himself back in his cell. He calls out to the guards in order to make a complete confession.
quotation
  • You wouldn't think so--but it can get kinda lonely around here sometimes! That's why I'm building my friend! Not only holds an interesting conversation--but he glows in the dark! His name? well, I thought I'd call him something sinister--Dracula, maybe! My name's Cain-- I'm the caretaker around here...and you've just entered the HOUSE OF MYSTERY!
