Otherwise known as the match where Black Turtle's amazing season started coming into form, even more than when Mega Man 9 beat Demon's Souls. The guy said Mega Man 9 would give Okami a good match without winning, and it went out and did just this. Yes Okami won 56-44 in easy fashion, but Mega Man 9 made a few small cuts throughout the match and by any standard 56-44 counts as "giving the winner a good fight". And yeah we're stuck looking at oracle stats to make obvious matches seem interesting. I really miss the days where we didn't have this massive amount of information out there.

Whenever you need to see whether or not a match went outside consensus, you need only look at the oracle. And in the oracle, only about half of people picked Okami to score under 60%. This isn't a sign Okami did bad or anything; Mega Man 9 just did really, really well. And yeah we're stuck looking at oracle stats to make obvious matches seem interesting. I really miss the days where we didn't have this massive amount of information out there.
