He shimmered in behind the prophet and dragged him into an alley, where he killed him. However, Trigg was then discovered by Phoebe Halliwell, who proceeded to vanquish him with his own athame. Cole then revealed to her that she had just killed 'his brother'. He later explained that they were both members of the Brotherhood of the Thorn and had been good friends.
