Flangers would continue to serve during the Lyrinx War as an ally of Scrutator Xervish Flydd. Along with Chissmoul, who he became romantically involved with, and Yggur, Flangers was captured by the Numinator in 212 ATM, sometime after being forced to go on the run after Jal-Nish Hlar usurped control of Santhenar. However, he would escape after seven years imprisonment, during the battle of the Isle of Noom and became instrumental in overthrowing the God-Emperor; eventually taking command of the armed forces of the empire.
