The Shalloo was one of two galleons under the command of Slipp and Strapp, the searat brothers. Shalloo was under Strapp's control, and due to its being only a searat ship, it was not as good quality a vessel as its sister ship the Pearl Queen. When the Pearl Queen was stolen by Joseph the Bellmaker and companions, the crew of the Shalloo gave chase; but thanks to Finnbarr Galedeep's nautical skills, the Shalloo missed her quarry and was pulled into the Green Maelstrom.
