Established in 2010, the European Cybercrime Task Force (EUCTF) is an expert group made up of representatives from Europol, Eurojust and the European Commission, working together with the heads of European Union cybercrime units to facilitate the cross-border fight against cybercrime. It is a platform for managers in cybercrime investigations and prosecutions at Europol. The EUCTF assists in the development and promotion of a harmonised EU approach for the fight against cybercrime, and addresses problems caused by the use of cyber technology for committing crime.
