In his sorrow, he started to play violin outside for three hours, attracting the notice of soldiers, civilians and of Anntoinette Larusche, a Toreador who gave him the Embrace in order to preserve his talent forever, after he was attacked by bandits who stole his violin and left him to die from his wounds.
