Systemics is an academic discipline which involves the study of the principles that are common to many fields, including the scientific method, generalized structures, heuristics, computability, complex-system design and analysis, general mathematics, and pure logic. Considering that it forms the basis for all other disciplines on Tetro, it is the most widely practiced of all of them, and is often the only discipline taught to young Tetrians during their primary schooling.
