- Suspicious Minds is an old Earth folk tune, considered a traditional song in the Koprulu sector. A remake was done by The Bourbon Cowboys as an anti-Terran Dominion propaganda song. According to music critic Humbert H., it is a song that remains true to the values of the band, specifically bourbon and white-hot hatred toward the Terran Dominion. The Terran Dominion later banned the song. The song was later added to the album Revolution Overdrive: Songs of Liberty, compiling the greatest anti-Dominion songs of the sector.
- Suspicious Minds is the fifteenth episode of ALF's third season. It originally aired on Jan. 23, 1989.
- Suspicious Minds is Mia's second Heart-to-Heart in Xenoblade Chronicles X. It occurs late at night in the Commercial District, one block south of West Melville Street, behind the piles of construction supplies.
- "Suspicious Minds" is an Elvis Presley song used when Lilo shows Nani a recent shocking discovery about Stitch with her record player in the film Lilo & Stitch. Gareth Gates sang a cover version of the song for the Soundtrack for the film and it went to number 1 in the UK for 2 weeks. The music video features Gareth Gates changing color alternating between black and white in a white background while clips from Lilo & Stitch are shown. There are two versions of the music video available.

- "Suspicious Minds" is a song written and first recorded by American songwriter Mark James. After James' recording failed commercially, the song was handed to Elvis Presley by producer Chips Moman, becoming a number one song in 1969, and one of the most notable hits of Presley's career. "Suspicious Minds" was widely regarded as the single that returned Presley's career success, following his '68 Comeback Special. It was his eighteenth and last number-one single in the United States. In 2004, Rolling Stone ranked it No. 91 on their list of the 500 Greatest Songs of All Time. Session guitarist Reggie Young played on both the James and Presley versions.
