  • The 24 Hours of Le Mans (French: 24 Heures du Mans) is the world's oldest active endurance sports car race, held since 1923 at the Circuit de la Sarthe near Le Mans in France. Considered to be once of the most prestigious events on the racing calendar, it is part of the Triple Crown of Motorsport. Drivers compete in teams of three over the twenty-four hours in specifically-designed "Le Mans Prototypes" and in GT cars. The race is traditionally held in the middle of June.
