abstract
  • The Dorvish State Election, 4077 was an election to decide the next State Council of Dorvik, for the 57th term. It was held in the April of that year on the scheduled date. The election resulted in the Communists loosing their majority but still remaining the largest party, with the Progress Party being a mere four seats behind them. This election saw a new right-wing party, Alternative für Dorvik cause an electoral upset by creating a hung parliament with their 16 seats, all gained in Westmark, failing to get any seats in the four other Provinces. Initially, the Communists were considering a grand-coalition with the Progressives, with media speculation considering a Progress-AfD coalition the most likely coalition. However the Communists and Progressives mutually agreed that the Communists should merely lead a minority government.
