At any time, the attuned user may refil the belt's loops with charges by paying 10 motes of essence and 1 willpower, and spent charges regenerate themselves in the belt at dawn. Additionally, by paying one mote per shot, the belts user may charge his shots with essence. Doing so makes the damage piercing, or adds an additional +3 damage if the weapon was already piercing.
