- It is unknown what its exact purpose is but the circle is described as dark place thirsty for dark thoughts and feelings. It may have been built to harness or cast dark magic. Those who enter the circle are susceptible to its magic. Depending on what a person says, does, thinks or wishes, the circle will cast a curse related to this. Each of its spells require something different to be broken such as going to the circle on a specific day or in a specific time or reliving a certain memory. However, sometimes, it can affect those who wander near enough to it. Its magic can even effect mermaids. The Stone Circle appears to grant wishes but it never grants what you really want.

- The landscape is similar to that of Sherwood Castle, but in the middle of the island there is a circular monument that resembles Stonehenge. It is also the home of Bane and his flying Wyverns. The last two parts of the Prophecy of Bane quests occur here. Like in Isle of Heroes, Bane's summoning arena is inside the ring of mindfire stones. In the circle of this island, a pack of Wolves and the Pack Leader can be summoned. For so long as the circle has stood, it is the wolves who have been the true rulers of this land. Fierce, savage and proud, they will test the honor of you and your friends.
- The Stone Circle was a ritual structure on the Forest Moon of Endor in the thorn forest used by the Wizards of the Night Spirit. The structure consisted of a circle of stone columns with a massive stone at the head which had a circle cut out of the top of it. There was also a stone table which sat in the center of the circle. The location was used in tandem with the Sunstar to open a rift in space to otherworld, the devastated planet which the wizards had been banished to long ago. The Sunstar was placed on the stone table and spun counter-clockwise to create this rift.
- Stone circles are holy sites of Guthixian religion scattered across the world of Gielinor. Stone circles are named such for their appearance, which is similar to that of the real-world Stonehenge. During the Years 1 to 200 of the Fourth Age, Guthixian thought and devotion spread more openly. During this time, dozens of holy circles dedicated to Guthix were constructed by druids, an order which had silently endured the God Wars for more than 4,000 years. Although this period truly popularised the stone circle, its origins are considerably older, dating back to the late First or early Second Age. The stones of the circle are said to represent each of the Guardians of Guthix.
