Kurasks are common monsters for Slayer tasks. They are relatively high level monsters, having a combat level of 106. Kurasks are most commonly found within the High level Slayer Dungeon.

- Kurasks must be killed with one of these weapons:
* Melee:
* Leaf-bladed spear (2H - Tier 50)
* Leaf-bladed sword and Off-hand leaf bladed sword (Dual wield - Tier 50)
* Magic: Slayer Dart spell used with either:
* Slayer's staff (2H - Tier 50)
* Staff of light (2H - Tier 75)
* Abyssal wand and Abyssal orb (Dual wield - Tier 75)
* Staff of darkness (2H -Tier 85)
* Ranged: A fitting ranged weapon with any of the following ammunition:
* Broad arrows (Bow - Tier 55)
* Broad-tipped bolts (Crossbow - Tier 55)
* Royal bolts (Crossbow - Tier 80)
* Ascension bolts (Crossbow - Tier 90)
- Kurask, like turoth, must be killed with either a leaf-bladed sword, leaf-bladed spear, and/or Slayer Dart spell (which also requires a Magic level of 50), or broad arrows/broad-tipped bolts/royal bolts, or else the player's attacks are ineffective. Kurask are assigned by Sumona and Chaeldar.
- Their attacks are relatively inaccurate, but can hit somewhat high if they do. Although they are invulnerable to any damage from Saradomin godsword, it will still heal the player as if it would have dealt damage, making it recommended as a special attack weapon for extended trips. These monsters, along with Turoths, are the only monsters to drop the leaf-bladed sword. They are also known for their light mystic robe top and kurask head drops, as well as being the only monster to drop the exclusive leaf-bladed battleaxe.
