At a young age Torrid was kidnapped from his home and sold on a Hut slave market. He was purchase by a Zabrak woman. The woman trained him as a gladiator and entered him in to contests. In these contests he was never the favorite due to his young age. During one particular one sided fight he was backed into a corner. The tough situation caused built up force energy to release itself during his moment of fear. The display changed the woman's plans for him. He was sold to a private market, and bought again by man attempting to get into the good graces of the Sith, and then given as a gift to the Sith Empire. Taken in to the very basic classes, Torrid blew through them once he learned the basics of calling upon his power. He has now moved on to the point of having a dedicated master.
