- Batwing is published by DC Comics. Current price per issue is $2.99.
- The Batwing is the personal aircraft of Batman which he uses to travel around Gotham and America. It is very fast and produced by Wayne Enterprises (Bruce Wayne's A.K.A. Batman's) company.

- Batman used the Batwing when it was necessary to travel longer distances than he could in the Batmobile, to counter airborne threats, or to ambush enemies from above. The Batwing was redesigned at least twice in Batman's career. The original had a claw that could be used offensively or for rescue operations. The second Batwing had missile capability. Both Batwings were capable of vertical take-off and landing. The Batwing appeared to have been retired after the adoption of the flying Batmobile. By the time Terry McGinnis discovered the Batcave, it and the older Batmobile were still present.
- Capable of vertical take-off/landings due to the ability to rotate its twin engines, this model's avionic and optical sensors reside behind red transparent casings while, in terms of weaponry, the Batwing possesses twin gun emplacements in its nose.
- Lucas "Luke" Fox is the son of Lucius Fox. After almost losing his dad Luke uses his dad's technology to become the superhero Batwing. He is among the many superheroes summoned by the Council of Royals to help fight the Black Marauder's Legion of Villains.
- Batwing is a vehicle that appeared in LEGO Batman: The Videogame and LEGO Batman 2: DC Super Heroes.
- Batwing equipment can be traded and equipped by free players, but the supply into free worlds is only by trading, because only members can obtain batwings or craft the armour. This behaviour is similar to blue dragonhide armour.
