In 2005, Toyoma China was created to coordinate all of Toyoma's various activities in China to enhance the design, development, manufacturing, and marketing of Toyoma's tires. Today, Toyoma is world's leading manufacturer and exporter of automotive tires, tubes and flaps at its state-of-the-art manufacturing facility; it currently has four production plants in China - in Shandong, Henan, Sichuan and Hunan. Production at Toyama Shandong's plant began in September 2005. This tire plant has an annual production capacity of 2 million all-steel radial truck tires, 6 million half-steel radial tires and 50,000 units of all-steel OTR tires. The other three plants are also strategically located in central and Southwest China, which supply about 45 percent of our company's tire products every year. Toyoma conducts complex international trade transactions involving automotive materials and components among Toyoma companies, and their distributors and suppliers. Also, as a result of continually expanding business activities, the company has established close relationships with many automakers,and is the designated tire supplier for Mercedes Benz, 12.00R20 truck series.
