| - Although a lyric soprano, she is blessed with a range that allows her to include works typically sung by mezzo sopranos in her repertoire. The renowned British soprano Pamela Bowden described Elizabeth’s singing as “a very special soprano voice of exceptional quality coupled with a naturally communicative performer” Elizabeth studied acting at The Birmingham Theatre School whilst receiving singing instruction from Marjorie Thomas in London. In 1993 she embarked on a post graduate vocal course at The London College of Music, studying with Pamela Bowden, and then achieved a Masters Degree in Opera Performance at The Royal Scottish Academy of Music, Glasgow studying with Patricia MacMahon. Elizabeth has performed in many countries including singing at the La Tour de France summer music festival, the Stone Bell in Prague, the Dresden Festival and a live broadcast from St. Stephan’s Cathedral in Vienna. She regularly sings in the Midlands region and across the U.K. with orchestras, choral societies and choirs performing in concerts, oratorio and recitals. Recent performances have included the West Midland Safari Park Proms, the Tenbury Festival, the Messiah at Worcester Cathedral and the Shugborough Hall Proms Spectacular.
