| Synopsis
| - Meanwhile, to the east we learn that the evil Mortan has taken the scientist Zhoran captive and has been using Zhoran's devices as tests for a future attack on Ranagar City in and attempt to take over. He soon sends his ultimatum, trapping Ranagar City in an impenetrable force field and threatens to unleash the indestructible monsters upon the city if the people will not surrender.
Adam realizes that sunlight is able to pass through the force field, and manages to locate Mortan's hide out by triangulating it's location. Adapting crafts to become like sunbeams, a strike force passes through the force field and arrives at Mortan's hide out. There Adam easily defeats Mortan and foils his plot and sets Zhoran free.
With his mission accomplished, Alanna rewards Adam with a kiss just as the Zeta-Beam wears off sending him home.
- As Alanna waits for Adam Strange's arrival on Rann there is a sudden flash of bright light and she soon finds herself in a jungle in front of a giant lizard, the likes of which have not been seen on Rann since it's pre-historic period. The creature chases her, and as she tries to escape she finds that she is trapped by a force field.
Meanwhile on Earth, Adam Strange is on the island of Ceylon near India where he is disguised as a Kolan in order to intercept the Zeta-Beam without revealing himself.
He arrives on Rann inside the prehistoric time warp just in time to save Alanna from the giant lizard creature. They manage to escape where Alanna first encountered the force field, finding it now gone. Returning to Ranagar City, Adam and Alanna tell Sardath, Alanna's father, what they had encountered. Suddenly a warning that two ancient lizard creatures have appeared in the Sea of Abyx and they cannot be harmed because they are sealed in a protective forcefield. Adam and Alanna travel out to the sea to try and stop the monsters, but their weapons prove ineffective in harming the creatures
