EPoSS is contributing to EUROPE 2020, the EU's growth strategy for the coming decade, to become a smart, sustainable and inclusive economy. EPoSS provides a common European approach on Innovative Smart Systems Integration from research to production, defines priorities for common research and innovation in the future, formulates commonly agreed road maps for action, provides a Strategic Research Agenda, mobilises public and private resources, and supports its members in coordinating their joint research efforts and improving communication amongst the members as well as towards the European Commission.
