abstract
  • Roy Geary and Brad Bellick found T-Bag's hidden stash of money at a bus station. Geary decided to double-cross Bellick and keep the money to himself, subsequently knocking Bellick out in the process. He eventually went to a hotel to enjoy himself with a few prostitutes, until Theodore Bagwell barged in. Despite Geary's begging for his life, T-Bag bludgeoned him to death with a wine bottle. T-Bag is then seen enjoying Geary's suite. While rummaging through a convenience store bag with some cigarettes, he discovers a slip of paper and smiles. It is later revealed that this was a receipt from Bellick's credit card. T-Bag planted it in Geary's hand, effectively framing Bellick for the murder. Due to the fact that Bellick had also left a threatening voicemail on Geary's phone, promising to kill him for stealing the money, Bellick was arrested for Geary's murder. The overwhelming amount of evidence and fear of the death penalty in case of a guilty verdict pressured Bellick to confess to the murder, although he was innocent.
