The Conservative Party leadership election was called I light of the founding of the party in May 4146, succeeding the Front National (FN) in Rildanor. Conservative AMs voted in a series of ballots to determine which two candidates would go forward to the nationwide ballot of Conservative members, who would make the final decision.
