He takes part in protecting the nation from the civil war it undergoes at the start of White Knight Chronicles 2 shortly after Archduke Dalam is murdered by the Magi. He teached young Miu much about what she must do to become the leader of Faria. He enlists Scardigne to escort Miu out of Faria when the Red Army begin assaulting the main buildings of Faria. Then Lorias leads a direct charge at the gates of Faria as a distraction for Leonard's team to sneak around the back. Lorias succeeds and, as a result, Faria is retaken.

Later, Ban Lorias is thought dead after a Red Army captain tells Scardigne to "step aside or you will suffer the same fate Ban Lorias did." This distresses Miu but she soon find him at a Farian camp in the Lost Forest. Ban Lorias desgined a plan to retake Faria. But the Red Army have Zore Crystals set up and they must be destroyed first. Lorias leads men into the Lost Forest and destroys two of the Zore Crystals as Leonard and his group destroy another two. Then Lorias leads a direct charge at the gates of Faria as a distraction for Leonard's team to sneak around the back. Lorias succeeds and, as a result, Faria is retaken.
