It is worth noting that The Diner is not the same Diner that appeared in The Impossible Astronaut. The TARDIS simply took on the appearance of something nearby that would help it blend into its environment. If you've ever been to the Nevada-Utah border, there are really only two good options- gas stations, and diners. Oh, and wells. Confirmed for being The Restaurant at the End of the Universe.

- You look hungry. I have something in the kitchen. Sit down and relax. The Soap Box lecture series. Recent lecture: Can we improve upon reality? by JWSchmidt
- The diner first appeared in Welcome to Area Fifty-Something after the Monsters were fired by President Hathaway. It became prominent in The Wormhole Has Turned as The Monsters used it's contents to make the wormhole look like a real teleporter.
- The original Diners are located in Pumkin World. Today it is the most successful business there. Every Pumkin goes to The Diner because of Mrs. Dictator's mandate stating: Image:Cquote1.png All Pumkins who are capable of breathing must go to either The Diner here in Pumkin World, or The Diner in Arlene, those who do not will be forced into a brutal boot camp to prepare you for war. Image:Cquote2.png —Section 9, Line 13 of the Pumkin Constitution written by Mrs. Dictator and forcefully thrust upon the citizens Not many Pumkins break this law, why? Well, it is a little known fact that Pumkins are extremely addicted to butter. Going without butter long enough can kill a Pumkin. This addiction has been exploited by Hank's Freedom Fighters, but it is really this addiction that keeps the Pumkins on an evil and hostile adrenaline rush that causes them to do freaky, evil things you could not imagine.
