Image: Two Nations River Hawks logo.jpg Starting in 2006, Peguis partnered with Fisher River Cree Nation for three seasons, and know as Two Nations River Hawks. The team played in the Peguis Arena until February 19, 2007, when the arena was lost to fire. After the fire and for the next 4 seasons the team played all their home games in Fisher Branch. As of the 2011-2012 season, they'll now play all their home games in Fisher River. Peguis is building a new $15.9 million multiplex, phase 1,a new arena is expected to be ready in 2014. The Juniors won their third championship in 2013, capturing the Baldy Northcott Trophy. The team finished the regular season with a record of 33-2-0-1. They won 24 consecutive games to finish the season and then won 11 straight in the playoffs, a winning streak of 35 games. They will go down as one of the greatest Junior B teams ever assembled in Manitoba, and likely the best all-aboriginal team ever assembled in Manitoba.
