  • The Necromancer is also a playable profession in Rolemaster.
  • Necromancers zijn magiërs die de krachten van de doden gebruiken. Volgen meestal Zamorak. Categorie:Non-player characters
  • Necromancers are masters of the undead. They have intently studied the dark magical arts for ages, and have the ability to call upon their hoard of undeads for their own benefit and conquest. The necromantic creatures are followers of the undead deity Urgith. See also Necromancer NPCs, Sorcerers and Voodoo Cultists for other human magicians, as well as Bonelords for another necromantic species entirely.
  • Necromancers is the third scenario of Archibald's campaign in Heroes of Might and Magic II: The Succession Wars. The player must choose between this scenario and Slay the Dwarves. If they choose Necromancers, they will be able to hire a high-level necromancer at the castle in all future scenarios. If they choose Slay the Dwarves they'll receive an ogre allience that makes all neutral ogre and ogre lord stacks join them, and the Dwarf-Bane nickname will make all dwarf and battle dwarf stacks run away in fear.
  • Necromancers, though most are conjurers of the dead , is the name given to any and all who live on the Continent of Enterrisö to any mage or magic-user who uses their power not to aid others, but instead to further their own agenda of conquering and destruction. There have been only a few reported Necromancers in all of History: The Scourge of Aût, who lived from 230 BA, until 1 AA. The Scourge of the Timirins, who lived from 540 AA until 690 AA.

When his allies in the Necromancers' guild were attacked by the Wizards' guild, Archibald sent his commander to aid them, hoping to strengthen the alliance between them. The commander was successful, and the guild sent their finest necromancers to aid Archibald in the future.
Necromancers are created when a mage refuses to use his knowledge, granted by the Gods, for the work of the Gods. They instead are tempted by the Daemons, ever trying to breach the walls of their realm and pour into ours. Necromacers aid them in this goal, by raising the dead and by opening temporary portals from the Daemonic Realm to the human world. Inside the realms of Necromancers, they hold vile courts of undead nobility, mocking the Kings who live in some sort of pampered safety behind the castle walls, deciding which land to destroy next. Oftentimes, the name of a Necromancer is not known, and therefore, is simply called "The Scourge of X," and that is all. The few who are known are rarely referred to by their names, for fear of invoking the soul of the Necromancer, beckoning it to this plane.
