Griitidim or 'Desert People' is a term used by Kiith Siidim to non-Siidim people on Kharak. The Siidim enacted the 'Clean Water System', a rule which forbids non-Siidim to settle a camp or drink on the Siidim water sources. This forced the other Kiithid to move to the poles for water supply. But then the poles was assaulted by both Gaalsieni and Siidim. After the Heresy Wars the term was rarely used by the apparently progressive Siidim, with a notable exception being the Siidim usage of the word when referring to Kiith Gaalsien during its war with the Coalition of the Northern Kiithid in 1110KDS.
