After a second place finish in the Paris Group in 1952, the club reached the final round for the second straight season. However, due to heavy snowfall, the final tournament was postponed. Instead, it was decided that one team from each initial group (Alpes and Paris) would meet for the championship. Billancourt was selected from the Paris Group to face Chamonix HC of the Alpes Group. Chamonix won the final 6-3, leaving Billancourt as French runners-up. The club finished in fourth and last place in the final tournament in 1953, their final season played.
