However, he couldn't match that at Langhorne, struggling to 28th. Riker's final career race came in 1960, when he competed at Montgomery. Starting 14th in the field of nineteen, Riker lost an engine just past the halfway point but managed to finish 17th.

However, he couldn't match that at Langhorne, struggling to 28th. Riker's busiest year was in 1954, when he competed in four races. He ran very consistently, running at the finish of three of those races and also earning three top-twenties - an 11th place run at Linden, a 13th place run at Raleigh, and a solid 16th place run at Mechanicsburg. Riker's final career race came in 1960, when he competed at Montgomery. Starting 14th in the field of nineteen, Riker lost an engine just past the halfway point but managed to finish 17th.
