A Farewell to Oz: The Oz Book for 2000 is a modern-day Oz novel, written by March Laumer with input from collaborators Dina Briones, Gerard Langa, and Anita McGrew, with editing by Paul S. Ritz. It was written between 10 April 1991 and 9 March 1993, and published in the latter year by Laumer's Vanitas Press. Laumer dedicated the book to his brother, science fiction author Keith Laumer, who died that year.
