| - Published in StoryStar 2013 In the History of Softindesh, he has been known by the name "The Democratic Dictator". Hardly anyone knew his real name. He is considered in his country the real time social and labor law reformer. After all, how could someone think of changing the lives of people indulged in unorganized labor like software Engineering, but he did it. Oh! I myself did not tell his real name. His real name was "Vibha". He was born as lover boy. After all, he had been a successful lover in at least 15 love stories, sadly all one sided. Everything started from him and ended at him. When his father saw his craze for money and girls, he was sure that he would be a software engineer one day. After consuming wine in his youth he qualified the last test to be a successful software Engineer. "He did not get married in his whole life to serve the country", this was the argument his friends and parents gave to the world so that others can never know the truth that he was rejected by around 35 girls, excluding the girls of his love stories. So one fine day he decided to join the politics and he did it. He had a new party "Mingle Party". Mingle Party launched an election manifesto full of bright ideas. The manifesto was his creation, and had following points. 1) There will be a Mingle department in each state and Central ruled state. 2)The purpose of mingle department was to make singles mingle with each other, who were not happy being single. An idea which touched the heart of desperate youth and some Engineers even got tears of happiness after listening to this. 3) There would be sublime changes in labor laws. 4) Mingle department will be monitored by the party workers of Mingle party, in each state. 5) The people who submit their profiles to mingle department will get the sponsorship from their managers for their dates. After release of manifesto, the party which was having just 5 members in the beginning, including one Vibha and four others fake identities created by him, had around 500 members within 2 weeks. Elections were fought in the country of 15 states and 5 central ruled states. And mingle party within a year made governments in the center as well as in the states. Finally the dream of Vibha came true. Within one year all singles became happy. Their bosses used to get tears in their eyes almost daily, anyone could hardly guess whether these tears were the tears of joy for the happiness of subordinates or for the fact that they were running out of money due to sponsorship of dates of subordinates. All 5 stars hotels started to bless Vibha and his government for the dating plan. After all, he was the one who could revive the real love in the time when entire world was engaged in hate and war. It was not as if he did not take care of security of the country as the couples used to fight on regular basis. All the boys became good, no, great warriors, as it is always the toughest fight to defeat a girl in arguments. When Mingle department was connected to technology, the portal became full of members. Desperation won over patience and the people being found single almost disappeared. Bosses started to face trouble and whenever there was promotion plan for an employee, he/she literally pleaded not to have that. Earlier the competition was for the promotion and now it was for not having that. Top bosses of software companies implemented the rule that the worst performer of the year would be awarded with promotion. So employees became dedicated workers. Now instead of dogs, humans became the most faithful creature in the country at least. Within one year people started to feel relieved. But Vibha was not happy with this only. He had registered himself on Mingle department and had got a girlfriend named Bhavana. He used to tell all people of his party and even international leaders about his girlfriend with pride, without acknowledging that the girl was girlfriend of almost 5 of his own party members but he found her as his soul mate. Forgetting that he was getting a checkmate. Probably, he was not aware of ExtraVibha affairs of that girl. He was happy to get her in his life and started to dream to make her his wife. Now it was time to put labour reforms. Governments before his government had come with words of improving condition of labour in his country but they had generally neglected the most unorganised labour in their country- The software Engineers. New rules were made. These rules had a curriculum for all companies, with these bullets, I mean bullet points. 1) No employee including security guard should be found after 9 PM in any company and if it was found happening then the licence of that company would be cancelled. 2) Company is responsible for security of it's apparatuses like PCs. 3) There would be no laptops and dongles distributed by the companies to the employees, if any company was found doing that, then licence of that company would be cancelled forever. 4) If a manager was found talking to his employees after 9 PM about work, then he/she would be banned from any sort of job for lifetime. 5) All Computers should have alarming system for theft, if touch is made on the systems after 9 then police would get the information directly. It was for the safety of the equipments in the company. 6) If an employee was found to be working forcibly after 9 PM then he/she would be banned from any sort of work for lifetime. 7) If two employees were found talking on any medium about office work other than office hours, they would be banned from any sort of job for the lifetime. After implementation of these laws, companies like "Crush Employees Consulting Services", started to face massive loss as their works were from USA. Some managers got lifetime ban for their workaholic nature and later turned into beggars as well as alcoholic. Now everyone used to have balanced work. The skill level of employees started to reach at the peak to satisfy the US clients but alas US clients did not get satisfied. They started to withdraw projects but they did not have software employees in their country as skillful as found in the countries like Softindesh so they had to reconsider the things in new situations. NASA was given the task to create an artificial Sun so that USA clients could also work in day time same as that of Softindesh. NASA scientists tried to place Halogen lamps in the space but it did not work out. Now they tried to create illusion of fire by putting a fire on the balloon, some people caught that fire. Thankfully they were all saved. Now USA government asked pharmaceutical companies to create a drug so that day appears as night and night appears as day. It was done so that clients can work in the same shifts as citizens of Softindesh were working. The scientists in those companies started to work on the eyes of owls and bats to use them for humans and had some experiments. Finally it seemed to be working but their thoughts also started to become like owls and bats. Some husbands were found in their illusion to make sounds like that of the bats before their wives and wives got so much scared that they started to do "Chamgadaadam Poojanam" ,learning from the scriptures created by Vibha. It also did not work out. Finally the government provided the combination of eyes of bats and owls to the wives or spouses of the employees, but it deteriorated their nervous system so much that first time in the history of the world humans started to lay the eggs, it was probably due to the dominance of owl while affecting nervous system. By the way scientists had never understood earlier that reproductive system is directly related to nervous system. It opened a new research arena in Biological sciences. Vibha was later not only credited for this change, but was also given the Noble prize twice in the same year for two different categories. One for biology and other for peace as the companies indulged in software field used to create a lot of noise through their employees. Though the research was not done by Vibha but for his innovation he shared the Nobel prize for biology with Mr. Champak Smith who really invented the idea of using bat's and owl's eyes for humans.USA claimed to be the first county to develop humans laying eggs. At least in USA, people realized that the ones behaving like bats and owls actually belong to Software Engineering field though that was always true, even before Vibha. By the way some scientists of "Waste the life laboratory" in Newyork, were also involved in those kinds of researches. It was the first time that Softindesh showcased the world that even small countries like that can do miracles, all credit to Vibha. Finally whatever be the condition in USA but in Softindesh, Software Engineering as a profession started to get glory which used to be abused earlier. Now even teachers started to teach children about Software as science from Kindergarten itself. Over all Softindesh emerged as the real hub of Software Engineers in the world. NASA scientists are still working to find out the way to create a new Sun, as they don't want only pharma companies to enjoy the glory and themselves being in the darkness of the failures. They have not succeeded yet but for NASA scientists the life has become nightmare as the biggest innovation is credited to pharmaceutical companies but not to them. That innovation was to convert humans into bats and owls. Time has come to organize the biggest event in the world and that is Vibha's marriage.For the first time in his life spanning 35 years so far, the dream with which he had lived for years is coming true. World leaders and big personalities from entire globe have come, including Mr. Champak Smith. But all of sudden he listened some sounds like "Vibha beta get up. It is 10, time to go to office". He saw his mother coming to him saying like that. For the first time he did not want to see his mother, after all how could she interrupt in the biggest event of his life. All of sudden someone shook him from shoulders, he opened his eyes and said "mom, why did you wake me up so early", she said "Son, time to go office, it is already 10". Vibha got up, got ready and reached office at 11:00 AM in his company "Crush Employees Consulting Services". The life was same again. Owls and bats were still in the form of humans. Bhavana was still not his girlfriend and he still used to feel jealous by seeing her with other boys. He has not been accepted by any girl yet. And world is same again, full of people busy in their lives.
