Shige Hirooka (16 January 1897 - 29 March 2011) was a Japanese supercentenarian at the time of her death at age 114 years, 72 days, was not the world's oldest living person and the oldest living resident of Osaka. She still remains as one of the 100 oldest people ever and the top 100 oldest women ever. Her death report was not reported until August 2011, like Hatsue Ono's death report on February 23, 2013.
