Small One is a very special donkey who is very loyal to a small boy who lived in a little house not to far from Nazareth. But all these years of hard work made him old and weak. The boy's father suggested that Small One needs to be sold, but his son didn't want to leave his best friend since they've known each other for so long. The boy reluctantly tries to sell Small One in the town of Nazareth, but things got way out of hand when Small One was rapidly abused by a really cruel donkey seller who chased them around the city after Small One kicked him off his back. When all hope seemed lost for the boy and Small One, a kind and gentle man named Saint Joseph came and asked the boy if Small One is for sale. Joseph needed a donkey to help carry his wife, the Virgin Mary, to Bethlehem. The boy sold his friend for one silver coin and bid a fond farewell to Small One. Joseph promised that Small One will have a good home. When Small One and Joseph left, the boy waved good-bye to them as they carry Mary safely to the city of Bethlehem. Moments later, a bright star is shown shining down where it symbolizes the birth of Joseph and Mary's newborn son, Jesus Christ.
