The National Museum was one of the cultural institutions of the United States of America, with branches in Washington DC and New York City, and on the campus of Marshall College in Connecticut. Marcus Brody became assistant curator at the National Museum in 1913. By the 1930s, Brody was promoted, and under him many of the museum's exhibits featured artifacts recovered by Indiana Jones.
