Frisia was a Kingdom established on the edge of the Province of Germania. Frisia was populated by the Frisi people who were used most often as the laborious workers in the ports of what is now their Kingdom. The Frisians, like the other ethnicities in what became the Cimbrian Alliance, was influenced and riled up by the Cimbri people who sent many dissident people into the communities of these tribes. Frisia was one of the first of these to revolt, doing so after the death of the Venedi martyrs, and they led many of the other lower class tribes of Germania into the creation of their Kingdoms. Though the Kingdoms of Frisia was a smaller Kingdom, like all the Germanic Kingdoms, they were a well managed Kingdom with several successful ports and cooperation among the other Kingdoms of Germania

The First King of Frisia, and their Prince-Elector, named Stigandr was an important member of the military that led to the independence of the Kingdom. Stigandr was from the small city of Liwadden which he made his capital.
