Tony Featherstone (Born - July 31, 1949 in Toronto, Ontario) is a retired Canadian professional ice hockey right wing who played 130 games in the National Hockey League for the California Golden Seals. He would also play 108 games in the World Hockey Association with the Toronto Toros. He played junior for the Peterborough Petes from 1967-69 and was chosen 7th overall by the Oakland Seals in the 1969 NHL Amateur Draft. In 1974 he jumped to the Toronto Toros of the World Hockey Association for two seasons. Featherstone retired in 1976.

  • Tony Featherstone (Born - July 31, 1949 in Toronto, Ontario) is a retired Canadian professional ice hockey right wing who played 130 games in the National Hockey League for the California Golden Seals. He would also play 108 games in the World Hockey Association with the Toronto Toros. He played junior for the Peterborough Petes from 1967-69 and was chosen 7th overall by the Oakland Seals in the 1969 NHL Amateur Draft. Featherstone played most of the 1969-70 season for the Providence Reds but spent 9 games with the Seals. He was a regular in 1970-71, scoring 8 goals and 8 assists in 67 games. The Seals then traded him to the Montreal Canadiens for Ray Martyniuk. He could not crack the deep Canadiens lineup and played two seasons for the Nova Scotia Voyageurs, winning the Calder Cup in 1972. Then Montreal sold his rights to the Minnesota North Stars in 1973. Featherstone played the 1973-74 season for the Stars. In 1974 he jumped to the Toronto Toros of the World Hockey Association for two seasons. Featherstone retired in 1976. In 130 NHL games Featherstone scored 17 goals and 21 assists. In the WHA he scored 29 goals and 45 assists in 108 games.
