- Coconuts is a monkey-robot created by Dr. Robotnik to hunt Sonic in the cartoon series Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog. He used to be one of Dr. Robotnik's more important and devious Sonic-hunting badniks until Scratch and Grounder were created. This event lead Coconuts to be demoted to janitorial duty in Robotnik's base. Hating this job entirely, Coconuts still makes an effort to capture Sonic to try and win Robotnik's favor, in hopes of being promoted again. Being the oldest and more experienced between himself, Scratch and Grounder, Coconuts is usually less prone to fall for most of Sonic's tricks his "brothers" would blindly step into. Coconuts is based off a badnik of the same name.
- Coconuts is a monkey-based Badnik in the employ of Breezie the Hedgehog, and a member of the Super Special Sonic Search & Smash Squad. He serves as Breezie's personal assistant, and is often in competition with his long-time teammates.
- Coconuts are the elemental building block of life. This theory was first developed by The Professor (real name Professor Andmaryann). They were discovered in the Galapagos during his scientific voyage aboard the Beagle. Indigenous to the windswept steppes of Isla Gilligano (the lamest of the Galapagos) the coconut is a small, yellow citrus fruit.

He is currently scrub monkey third class after not bothering steal a device he found, and nobody expects him to get better any sooner.
- Dorma once again tries to convince Hazar to join the underground resistance but he refuses. Captain Zudka leads his fleet to the Galaxy Alliance planet Aloha to create a diversionary attack. On the S.S. Explorer everyone has coconuts on their minds, having just passed planet Aloha, Jeff decides to make a quick coconut run to satisfy their cravings. Engineers Herby and Spike meet run into Jeff and they offer to help him but they are soon interrupted by the Drule attack.
- There are actually three major designs of Coconuts:
* The most famous is the variety that patrolled the Emerald Hill Zone in Sonic the Hedgehog 2. These Badniks waited at the tops of trees, before throwing coconuts at foes with no warning. Destroying them could be tricky, since even touching the coconut they are holding can be fatal. In Sonic the Comic, these Coconuts were actually stationed on the Floating Island, where a trio of them waited to ambush Knuckles the Echidna before they were destroyed by Shortfuse the Cybernik. Both Amy Rose and Porker Lewis dressed as Coconuts enemies when they infiltrated a Badnik Processing Plant until they were discovered by the [[lizard] guard attacking the Emerald Hill folk.
