The final took place at Wembley Stadium in London on 22 March 2015 with Bristol City winning their third title with a 2–0 win over Walsall, who were making their first appearance at Wembley in their 127-year history. The third win made Bristol City the most successful team in the history of the tournament. The match was refereed by Mick Russell.
