Sir Amiel founded The Knights of the Nine in 3E 111, following his heroic return from the War of the Isle, with the purpose of recovering the Crusader's Relics, the weapons and armor of Pelinal Whitestrake, which had been lost for thousands of years. He led the Knights against the Wyrm of Elynglenn to recover the Cuirass of the Crusader, which had not been seen since the First Era. This established the Knights' fame early on.

| - Sir Amiel founded The Knights of the Nine in 3E 111, following his heroic return from the War of the Isle, with the purpose of recovering the Crusader's Relics, the weapons and armor of Pelinal Whitestrake, which had been lost for thousands of years. He led the Knights against the Wyrm of Elynglenn to recover the Cuirass of the Crusader, which had not been seen since the First Era. This established the Knights' fame early on. In 3E 121 when the War of the Red Diamond began, Sir Amiel was unable to keep his knights out of the war, due to the fame which the Knights were built on. The Knights of the Nine were officially dissolved, by Imperial decree, in 3E 131. The last reported sighting of any of the Knights of the Nine is that of Sir Amiel. He was reported by a passing traveller to have been living alone in the Priory of the Nine in 3E 150.
