William Wymar appeared on Coronation Street in four roles: * Bert Driver, a friend of Frank Barlow in February 1961 * George Stubbins in December 1963 * Pensioner Ted Bates between August and September 1965 * A nightwatchman called Ben in 1970. He also appeared as a tramp in an episode of the spin-off comedy Pardon the Expression. His other credits include ITV Television Playhouse, The Villains, How We Used to Live and Crown Court, along with an uncredited role in the 1963 film Billy Liar.
