John Nevell, Neville, Nevill or Nevil, (? - 1697), was an English Vice Admiral from the 17th century. He was born in St. Margaret's, Westminster, Middlesex, England. He spent most of his career in the Americas and lived in Virginia. He is best known for the failed attempt to intercept the treasure-laden fleet of Pointis after the Raid on Cartagena (1697). He died later that year in Virginia from yellow fever.
