Environmentalism is a concern for the preservation or restoration the natural environment. This concern and understanding has grown out of the increasingly obvious destruction of the natural world at the hands of humans. Most Christians do not have strongly held views on environmentalism, however many do have a desire for looking after God's beautiful creation. Some Christians feel that a militant environmentalism can unfortunately get in the way of social welfare and improving the livelihood of poorer people in developing nations.

The book Silent Spring by Rachel Carson and the accident at Three Mile Island helped environmentalism gain followers. The United States Environmental Protection Agency was founded in 1970 to do something about problems with the environment. President Ronald Reagan refused to believe in global warming and allowed lumber companies to carry out deforestation national parks. Reagan slashed the budget of the EPA and ignored Canadian requests to stop Acid rain. Had Al Gore won the 2000 Presidential Election, the world would be caring better for the environment, but George W. Bush won even though Al Gore had more votes. Thank you Jeb Bush, thank you Electoral College.

The environmentalist movement is determined to bring about an end to all human progress, forcing our reversion back to primitive subhumans who live like animals, forced to eat raw meat because the evil environmentalist scum intend to eventually ban the use of fire. The degenerate environmentalist liars tell us that the things that makes up nature and the environment are more than just stuff left there by God for humans to exploit and destroy at our leisure. This alarming and insane theory spread quickly, by the early 20th Century even leading politicians had been gullible enough to fall for the lies, setting up huge areas of wasted space called National Parks, ruining the potential development of these places and pointlessly limiting our precious human potential. The environmentalism conspiracy really came to the fore in the 1960s and 1970s when undercover agents called hippies disguised themselves as wrestlers in order to spread their degenerate ideology. They developed lots of propaganda to spread their lies all over the world, including transparently made up shit like Climate change theory, Global warming, Acid rain and Ozone depletion. By the 1980s these lies had spread about enough for the environmentalist scum to put huge pressure governments all over the world to enact Anti-Progress legislation, euphemistically called "Environmental Legislation" to oppress the noble protectors of our civilisation.

It was declared a National Historic Landmark in 1962. Since his death in 1921, John Burroughs has been commemorated by the John Burroughs Association. The John Burroughs Association was founded in 1921 to commemorate the life and works of author/naturalist John Burroughs (1837-1921). Administered out of offices at the American Museum of Natural History. It also, on an annual basis, presents the John Burroughs Medal for distinguished nature writing at book-length, and another award for essay-length nature writing. Firestone, Ford, and Thomas Edison were generally considered the three leaders in American industry at the time, and often worked and vacationed together. All three were part of a very exclusive group entitled "The Millionaires' Club." Burroughs accompanied many personalities of the time in his later years, including Harvey Firestone. Among Burroughs's classmates was future financier Jay Gould. A leading American railroad developer and speculator. He has long been vilified as an archetypal robber baron, whose successes made him the ninth richest American in history.
