A container is an object that the player can activate to bring up an inventory in which you can put in, or take out items from your inventory. Fallout: New Vegas has many container types, many of which return from Fallout 3, such as refrigerators, as well as some brand new ones, such as Sunset Sarsaparilla crates. Some containers are referred to as "unsafe", items placed in an unsafe container will disappear over time. "Safe" containers will never respawn their contents, retaining the contents that are deposited in them.
