A Phaz-Ing resembles a Phazon version of an Inglet, composed of Phazon instead of dark matter. It can be killed by shooting it, using the Grapple Lasso, the Grapple Voltage, or using the Hyper Grapple. Touching them in Morph Ball mode results in Samus being covered and damaged by Phazon. According to the scan they prefer to stay in this liquid form. This is due to the fact that in the liquid form they are harder to hit and can't be easily killed using the Grapple Lasso or Grapple Voltage. Their only attack is charging energy to shoot a Phazon blast. Samus can use the Hyper Grapple on them on Phaaze to quickly drain Phazon.

  • Phaz-Ing are amorphous creatures composed of Phazon. They tend to appear only in areas afflicted by Phazon Corruption. Phaz-Ing possess limited shapeshifting abilities, but they are primarily used for self-defense. They mostly stay in the form of an amorphous mass of liquid Phazon, which is able to move across virtually any surface. When threatened, they will take a solid form and fling a blast of Phazon. They are most vulnerable in this state, as they unable to move until they shift back into liquid form.

  • Phaz-Ing bodies are weak to physical stress and can be easily pulled apart. These morphing blobs of Phazon often prefer to stay in puddle form and will only shift out to attack. Their ability to move over all types of terrain allows them to position themselves at a distance before assaulting with bursts of Phazon Energy.
