  • We the People is an electronic system for petitioning the federal government. It allows citizens to take action on a range of important issues facing the country. If a petition gets enough support, the White House staff will review it, ensure it is sent to the appropriate policy experts, and issue an official response.
  • We The People was The Wørd on the August 4, 2008 edition of "The Colbert Report".
  • We the People were an American garage rock band from Orlando, Florida that were formed in late 1965 and professionally active between 1966 and 1970. Although none of their singlescharted nationally in the U.S., a number of them did reach the Top 10 of the local Orlando charts. The band are perhaps best remembered for their song "Mirror of Your Mind" which reached the Top 10 in a number of regional singles charts across the U.S. during 1966. The song has subsequently been included on several compilation albums over the years. Their single "My Brother, the Man" was covered by the long-running Garage Rock Revival band The Fuzztones, and reworked by The Horrors with the song Count in Fives.
  • We The People Foundation (Give Me Liberty Organization) holds a State of the Constitution Convention in DC in 2007. The notice attached below is about a donation the We the People Foundation received to be used for "free" hotel accommodations for a few folks willing to go. Since Ron Paul is 100% for the Constitution and getting rid of the IRS, I thought this might be a great place for handing out RP information. If you had been thinking of attending but funding was holding you back, here's your chance to go and represent Ron Paul voters. Conference agenda: www.GiveMeLiberty.org March 24, 2007
  • "We the People" is a 6-page Superman story appearing in the September 13, 1987 issue of Daily News Magazine. It was written by Joey Cavalieri with art by George Perez. Clark Kent and Lois Lane attend a school pageant about the founding of the US Constitution. As the play ends, time shifts from Clark's perspective and he suddenly finds himself in a world where America's President has absolute power.
  • We the People was a widescreen 3D film planned in the early 1990s for the never-built Disney's America theme park. The film would have told the story of the immigrant experience to Ellis Island, from the perspective of . Faced with contention about difficult periods in American history, the company retooled the park concept as Disney's American Celebration. The attraction appears in this project's presentation as well, issued very shortly before the entire project was shelved. The other half of the structure was to be a non-Muppet ride.

Later, when a turn of the century Manhattan Motor Mania ride was proposed for Tokyo Disney Sea's American Waterfront area, the concept was briefly retooled, recycling the Muppets as immigrants motif, but was ultimately shelved in favor of The Tower of Terror.

As the play ends, time shifts from Clark's perspective and he suddenly finds himself in a world where America's President has absolute power. Citing his super memory allowing for immunity from the effects, Superman deduces that Lex Luthor traveled back in time and influenced the forging of the country's founding documents. Taking three kids along with him, he travels back to 1787 to stop him. After assessing the situation, Superman borrows period clothing from a scarecrow and infiltrates Independence Hall to find that Lex Luthor is posing as Benjamin Franklin. Meanwhile, the kids locate the real Franklin and nurse him back to health. Using his super speed so that no one will notice, Superman swaps out Franklin's doppelganger for the real deal, and history begins to correct itself.

Since Ron Paul is 100% for the Constitution and getting rid of the IRS, I thought this might be a great place for handing out RP information. If you had been thinking of attending but funding was holding you back, here's your chance to go and represent Ron Paul voters. If you are interested, or will just happen to be in the DC area next weekend, you might want to call using the information below, and attend this rally with Ron Paul Flyers in hand. I don't know if any of Ron Paul's staff will be there (as we have no official RP Calendar yet), but I hope they have it on their agenda. For this group, there can be no better candidate. He fits like a glove, but RP or his campaign has to show some interest. The Convention will be shown on Pay Per View Internet TV. We could all take a lesson on the organizational skills displayed by this dedicated and persistent WTP/GML group. Conference agenda: If you can't go and are interested, you can watch the convention live Pay-Per-View at: This is just another example of a national group that might stir their members to vote Ron Paul, and believe me they have a huge membership. But someone from RP's camp has to stir them up with his candidacy first. For tax reason they might not be able to work for him directly as a group, but certainly the individual members could.
