  • Although weak, it is the only option (other than a sheep) for a player starting with taming level one. A rat can be used to kill other rats and sheep, and doing so (although it may take leveling more than one rat to level taming) will improve your taming skill unless it is capped at one. Giant rats attack on sight and spawn frequently at the Lerilin docks, so be careful if you are fishing there! Known Loot: Gold, Rat Tail, Raw Steak, Fur Spotted: Lerilin Dock, Dungeons, Mirith Crypt, Rat Cave, Sewers
  • Giant Rats are tough monsters found in the Sewers they are much tougher than their counterparts.

  • Giant Rats are found in the 1st and 2nd levels of the Well Tunnels, in addition to one in the Underground Cellar.
  • Giant rat is a type of monster in ADOM. They are very common monsters, that are basically just the stronger form of rats. Whilst they are not powerful, a damaging attack from a giant rat has a (very small) chance to infect the PC with sickness — particularly dangerous very early in the game. Giant rats can swim, and are often summoned by wererats.
  • Giant Rat, also known as Big Rat, is a boss in Final Fantasy III. It is found in the last room of the Nepto Temple, and has stolen a ruby Nepto Eye from the statue of the Nepto Dragon.
  • It is a big rat with dripping teeth and small, greedy eyes. He ain't Mickey Mouse. He was able to talk and asked Graham to make him an offer and he would let him pass. Graham offered him Swiss cheese and the rat agreed to let him pass and then left. He is likely a member of the ratkin race.
  • Giant rats are most commonly found in the Deep Roads, but they breed quickly enough that they inevitably spill into the surface world.
  • Giant rats are an oversized version of the Old World's common rodents. They vary greatly in strength, from ones the size of a cat to ones bigger than humans, like their mole rat cousins. They can be annoying - the rats are hostile and will begin combat if you draw too near, severely delaying the player's passage through rat-infested areas. The species that exists in the Mojave has acquired white hair, blue glowing eyes, a light brown color and is bigger than the normal species.
  • Rats which have surpassed their lesser kin in both size and agression, Giant Rats infest the outskirts of human habitation scavenging for anything to eat and when provoked will even attack humans. They like darker, dank and warm locations in which to live and breed, living next to any available food source (a miners haven for example) is a highly desirable option for them and as they are capable of breeding quickly they can soon become a nuisance for both their aggressive nature and the fact they often carry disease.
  • They are the first monster a player will defeat in Old School RuneScape, as Vannaka will task the player with defeating one on Tutorial Island.
  • Vindplaats Je kan ze overal vinden, maar vooral leven ze in riolen, naast steden en grotten. Categorie:monsters

  • Giant rats are basically just really, REALLY big rats. We're talking 40 feet high and 100 feet long at least here. Southern Giant rats can grow to an excess of 350 feet. They live mainly in rainforests and under the sea, but have recently founded their own nation, Ratopia, which is located just south/north of that tree over there. Giant rats are known to vacation in New York City and are frequently spotted in the subway system.
  • One rat pursued Leela and bit her leg. The Fourth Doctor shot and killed it with a Chinese fowling gun. Li H'sen Chang, Greel's henchman, threw himself to the rats as a means of suicide after his master had dismissed him from service. The rats fatally wounded him, though he did not die right away. (TV: The Talons of Weng-Chiang) After Greel's defeat, the Doctor's allies Henry Gordon Jago and Litefoot descended into the sewers with a Gatling gun to kill the rest of the rats.
